Some industrials or commercial enterprises are necessarily outdoors-based. For instance, garden centres, car parks, market stalls and construction sites are all exposed to the elements. In all these cases, there is an increased vulnerability to theft or criminal damage, and so a need for effective perimeter security.
Lets take the garden centre as an example. Garden centres are more-often-than-not at least partially outdoors-based. They house products that need exposure to the outside, i.e. plants and flowers. Also, spatially speaking, an outside area is used as an important storage space.
In the case of a garden centre, the benefit of using space outdoors is clear. However, whilst the outside is spatially efficient and necessary for some kinds of products there is an obvious compromise in terms of security.
Outdoor premises are less secure than indoor premises. However, with the right fencing in place you can seriously improve the security factor of your outdoor area. Wire fencing, for instance, could be well used to protect a garden centre from intrusion or physical damage.
Garden centres are often relatively small premises, and so they can feasibly be protected by wire fences or other affordable options. For larger premises and industries industrial fences may be more suitable.
In either case, at Siddall and Hilton we are proud to serve all kinds of industries and commercial enterprises. They all have one thing in common: the need for effective, physical security in the form of perimeter fences , mesh or barbed wire.
